PROJECT SUMMARY

Áridos Antolín is a construction materials company that provides aggregates for customers throughout northern and central Spain. Since beginning its limestone quarry operation in 2013, the company has used a variety of mobile crushers from a variety of manufacturers. As production requirements increased over the years, the operation identified the need to upgrade its crushing setup, replacing a smaller impact crusher that could no longer keep pace with throughput expectations.

To address these challenges, Áridos Antolín introduced an Anaconda J12 Jaw Crusher and I12 Impact Crusher, configured to operate together within the existing plant. Since commissioning, both machines have been running in tandem and delivering consistent output within expected operating parameters.

Beyond equipment performance, support during delivery and commissioning proved to be a key factor in the project’s success. Anaconda’s team worked closely with site personnel throughout startup, ensuring issues were addressed quickly and establishing a strong working relationship.

With the new setup performing reliably and wear rates tracking within anticipated projections, Áridos Antolín reports a positive experience to date, highlighting ease of operation, dependable support and strong value as the primary outcomes of the project.

“The advantages we’re seeing now include the relative simplicity of operating the machines—specifically, the absence of the complex, trouble-prone systems that often cause headaches with other equipment.”
– Jesús Manuel de la Rosa, Technical Manager
“What we really appreciate is the level of support we’ve received right from the moment the machines were delivered. We’ve established a close working relationship—something we haven’t always found elsewhere.”
– Jesús Manuel de la Rosa, Technical Manager
