Anaconda Assist MacMillan with “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning”
Our support behind MacMillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning doesn’t stop just because CO-VID 19 has come along. Things had to be done a little differently this year instead of our usual mornings craic we had to opt for voluntary donations from our staff in order to ensure their safety and welfare in the work place all while following social distancing measures.
It was great to see everyone at Anaconda pulling together in such hard and uncertain times in order to fundraise for this worthy charity that are doing excellent work by helping people whose lives have been unfortunately touched by cancer. Although we were not able to indulge in some home made treats we still had fun along the way and raised a total of £300.00.
We understand how cancer can affect people’s lives from a number of different perspectives like health, money, family, jobs; everything. Therefore, Anaconda believe that getting behind this amazing charity is very important and we fully commend the work done by Mac Millan Cancer Support all year around!
We look forward to seeing the grand total raised in a year that everyone is sure to remember!
